Kilkenny’s Arts scene is centred around the Watergate Theatre, the Set Theatre, Butler Gallery and many other small, intimate venues that host live music and theatre offering quality facilities for small productions. Many of the city’s historical locations also become event spaces for the Annual Kilkenny Arts Festival.
Outside of the City, Ballykeefe Ampitheatre is nestled at the foot of the old Ballykeeffe Quarry and brings the authentic atmosphere of an open-air Italian theatre to the quaint Kilkenny countryside.
